The annual NAOC Congressional Fly-In is a grassroots effort to engage with members of Congress and one of the most effective tools we have for generating support for NAOC’s legislative priorities. This event is one of the reasons behind our continued success in receiving programmatic language and increased funding included in the annual Defense Authorization and Appropriations bills.  Due to the virtual nature of this year's event, congressional meetings will take place throughout April 2022. We believe this approach will allow NAOC members to discuss the issues and challenges facing our industry with as many Members of Congress and staffers as possible.

 Accurately completing the registration form will allow NAOC to identify your Members of Congress and enable us to contact you when we would like to schedule a meeting with a Member and/or their staff. When we are ready to schedule a meeting, we will reach out to you beforehand to find a time and date that works for everyone. Meetings will include someone from NAOC's Board of Directors, Government Affairs Committee, and/or The Livingston Group. In addition, a small number of other NAOC members may join your meeting for logistical purposes. These meetings are typically a 30 minute telephone or video meeting. Prior to any meetings with Hill staff, you will be provided with read-ahead materials and talking points. In most circumstances, a preparatory session will also be held with one of NAOC’s lobbyists from The Livingston Group.
