Symposium on the Application of Geophysics to Engineering and Environmental Problems (SAGEEP)

SAGEEP provides geophysicists, engineers, geoscientists and end-users from around the world an opportunity to meet and discuss near-surface applications of geophysics and learn about recent developments in near-surface geophysics.

SAGEEP is internationally recognized as the leading conference on the practical application of shallow geophysics. Since 1988 at the Colorado School of Mines, the symposium has been held over a 5-day period at locations throughout the United States, with approximately 150 oral and poster presentations, several educational short courses and workshops, numerous vendor presentations, and a commercial exhibition. A set of proceedings, comprised of technical presentations, is distributed online as part of the EEGS Research Collection (must be logged in as a member to access).

Online Registration for the SAGEEP 2025/3rd Munitions Response Meeting is Open!

See below for additional details on how to register.

SAGEEP 2025/3rd Munitions Response Meeting
April 13-17, 2025
Denver, Colorado  USA

SAGEEP is a premier international conference focusing on the near surface and is continuing our successful co-meeting on Munitions Response (MR) geophysics with the MR community. response. It's where practitioners, academics, researchers, consultants, students, and government representatives gather to hear presentations or view posters representing the latest in new approaches and methods in environmental and engineering geophysics. This year, the technical program will also incorporate special sessions planned in Future of Geophysics- Innovative Geophysics and Engineering (FOG), Unmanned Vehicles and Drones, Geophysics for Archaeology and Forensics, GPR Platforms and case studies, HVSR, and Underwater Munitions Response Operations. These and other special focus topics will add to broad scope of presentations spanning geohazards, hydrogeology, infrastructure, MR, sensor development, and much more.
